On behalf of the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA), congratulations on your acceptance to UMass Lowell! We are thrilled to welcome you here.

We have just the thing to help you get started. On Aug. 30-31, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., you will have the chance to attend the Student Success Summit. It's a great way to explore the opportunities, experiences and resources available to you on campus. It's also the perfect time to make friends with your peers before classes begin. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend sessions that will:

    • Give you tips on navigating your first semester at UML
    • Provide advice about student life in and out of the classroom
    • Help you find your place here through identity-based clubs and organizations
    • Explore career pathways with guidance from staff and alums

During the Summit, you'll learn all about the OMA Rising 360° Program. The Rising 360⁰ Program is designed to help you develop an individualized pathway to success at UMass Lowell. We are committed to providing dedicated support and access to campus resources from the moment you step foot on campus through graduation and beyond!

Once you register, we'll send you an email in August that has all the details you'll need to join us.

We are thrilled to meet you and look forward to guiding you! Reach out to us at if you have any questions about this orientation.

The Summit is open to all students and mandatory for all new students who have selected any of the following cohorts:
